We woke up to snow on the ground this morning and there is still ice on the lakes. Before long the ice will be gone and folks will be paddling the Boundary Waters again. It won't be long before the Voyageur Hudson Bay Expedition Crew takes off on their adventure either.
May 24th is the scheduled day of departure and the Voyageur Crew is excited for the date to come. The support for their expedition has been great. Their families and friends have donated money to help make the trip possible. Homeowners and guests of ours have also been helping them out. You can donate money to their trip online or come on up the weekend of May21-23rd to help wish them a great trip.
We'll be having a special dinner and a pancake breakfast fundraiser. We hope you will join us because the ice will be off and there will be lakes to paddle.
