Voyageur Experiences

Incredible experience in the BWCA. Had some bad weather, but you have to know that's a strong possibility if you go to the BW, it's part of it. Long story short, we followed the border down to Amoeber and Topaz, then went "down the hill" out of Amoeber into the bays behind Thunder Point, took South Knife to Hanson, back through Ester and out to Sag. 7 days, 3 camps. The photo is from Englishman Island in the Boundary Waters our last morning. One hour later Sag was a beast, from Clarke Island to Seagull River was pretty intense, but we kept our wits about us and never stopped paddling. Loved every minute. Mike, Sue, the guys at the dock and everyone at VCO were great, we'll be back
